Principal Attorney Charlene A. Charles Participates in Exclusive Legal Gathering at Sandals Royal Resort Barbados
BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS - Principal Attorney Charlene A. Charles was an esteemed guest at a Reception and Attorney Mingle hosted by the President and Council of the Barbados Bar Association. The event, held at the luxurious Sandals Royal Resort, marked a festive celebration of the Season and commemorated 50 Years of the Fusion of the Branches of the Legal Profession.
Distinguished legal luminaries graced the occasion, including BBA President Kaye Williams, former Chief Justice Sir Marston Gibson, High Court Justices Cicely Chase and Fiona Hinds, and Director of Public Prosecutions Donna Babb-Agard. Charlene opened a law firm and graduated with an LLM in a pandemic

Graduating from the University of the West Indies (UWI) Cave Hill campus during the university's first-ever virtual graduation last weekend, Charlene now has a Masters of Law with Distinction in Corporate and Commercial Law. With three new letters 'LL.M' after her name, we chatted with the graduate this week to find out how her three semesters of reading for the degree were and what's next.

New attorneys admitted to the Bar
BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS - Forty-five new attorneys were on admitted to the Bar during a swearing-in ceremony at the Supreme Court of Barbados attended by friends, family and notable members of the legal fraternity.
Amongst the group was Charlene A. Charles, having successfully fulfilled the rigorous requirements for admission to the bar. Throughout her legal education and training, Ms. Charles has demonstrated not only an exceptional understanding of the law but also a commitment to the values that underpin the legal system in Barbados.
